Ali Satvat

Ali Satvat

Ali J. Satvat is a Director on the Health Care industry team within KKR's Private Equity platform. Mr. Satvat serves as a member of the boards of directors of Coherus BioSciences, Inc. and PRA Health Sciences, Inc. Prior to joining KKR in 2012, Mr. Satvat was a Principal with Apax Partners, where he invested in health care, served as a director of Chiron Holdings (Kinetic Concepts, Inc. and LifeCell Corporation) and TZ Holdings (The TriZetto Group, Inc.) and was actively involved with many of the firm's successful growth investments. Previously, Mr. Satvat held various positions with Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Audax Group and The Blackstone Group, where he was involved in a broad range of transactions. Mr. Satvat holds an A.B. in History and Science from Harvard College and an M.B.A. in Health Care Management and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Satvat is also on the board of directors of the Healthcare Private Equity Association.

Jason Klarreich

Jason Klarreich

Jason Klarreich is the Chief Operating Officer at JW Asset Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor based in New York City. JWAM is the advisor to five investment partnerships with combined assets under management in excess of $700 million. Mr. Klarreich has worked at JWAM since 2006, where he is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and oversight of the private equity practice. Prior to joining JWAM, Mr. Klarreich worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a financial analyst, and later a senior vice president and risk manager at Heartland Securities. He is a graduate of Emory University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in finance.

Jason Wild

Jason Wild, Chairman

Jason Wild is the President and Chief Investment officer at JW Asset Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor based in New York City. JWAM is the advisor to five investment partnerships with combined assets under management in excess of $700 million. Mr. Wild received his license as a pharmacist in 1997, and subsequently founded JW Asset Management, LLC in 1998. The firm has a strong history of finding opportunities in both private and public equity within the specialty pharmaceutical sector. He is a graduate of the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy where he received a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.

James (Jim) Momtazee

James (Jim) Momtazee

James C. Momtazee is a member of KKR and head of the Health Care Industry team within KKR's Americas Private Equity platform. He also has served on the board of directors of several organizations, including Air Medical Holdings, Lake Region Medical, Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc, HCA Holdings Inc and PRA Health Sciences. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Momtazee was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He holds an AB from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.

Allen Chao

Allen Chao, Ph.D.

Dr. Chao was a co-founder of Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, serving as a director from 1985 to May 2008, Chairman of the Board of Directors from May 1996 to May 2008, and Chief Executive Officer from 1985 to September 2007. While at Watson, Dr. Chao oversaw the company's growth, through internal R&D, licensing and acquisitions of pharmaceutical products and technologies, as well as mergers and acquisition activities. Dr. Chao received a Ph.D. in industrial and physical pharmacy from Purdue University in 1973. In May of 2000, he received the degree of Doctor of Science from Purdue in recognition of his leadership and vision for the production and marketing of pharmaceutical products.

Ed Schutter

Ed Schutter

Ed Schutter has over thirty years of pharmaceutical industry experience and served as President of Sciele (Shionogi) Pharmaceuticals prior to joining Allergan. Prior to his Sciele experience, Ed served as VP of Global Business development at Solvay Pharmaceuticals based in Basel, Switzerland. He also held several senior management roles in commercial operations at the U.S. subsidiary of Solvay during his twenty years with the organization. He began his pharmaceutical career with Reid-Provident Labs, a small entrepreneurial pharmaceutical company based in Atlanta, Ga. Ed has a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. He serves on the board of Knight Therapeutics (GUD.TO), Vensun Pharmaceuticals, Establishment Labs, Mercer University and GA BIO.
